MILK CARTON MANIA


Milk Carton Mania is just one of eight books in the "Mania" Craft Series of books, by Christine M. Irvin, published by Children's Press in 2002. The book contains 12 easy-to-do craft projects using cardboard drink containers, such a milk cartons or juice cartons. Make a set of building blocks, build a castle, or create a space shuttle. The crafts in the book are shown using 1/2-gallon sized milk cartons, but the size of the finished projects can be adjusted by using larger or smaller drink containers.



PIE PAN MANIA


Pie Pan Mania, another book in the "Mania" Craft Book series, Children's Press, 2002, features a dozen fun-filled projects using pie pans. Try your hand at making a flying saucer, a super sunflower, or a giant jellyfish. The projects in the book were made using regular-sized aluminum pie pans, but you can change the way your finished project looks by using smaller pie pans. Pie pans can be purchased new at most grocery stores, but you can save your old pie pans and recycle them.



PAPER CUP MANIA


Paper Cup Mania, part of the "Mania" Craft Books, published by Children's Press, 2002, contains 12 easy-to-make projects using paper cups. Make your own kaleidoscope, robot, or action figures following the directions in the book. Paper cups are available in many colors and sizes. All the projects in the book were made using paper cups, but some of the projects can be made using foam or plastic cups.




EGG CARTON MANIA


Egg Carton Mania, part of the "Mania" Craft Books series, Children's Press, 2002, has directions for 12 easy-to-make projects using empty egg cartons. Make your own double-decker bus, super sailboat, or silly snowman. Save your empty milk cartons (And have your friends save theirs!) so you can make all the projects in the book. Most of the projects shown in the book were made using cardboard egg cartons, but some of them can be made using foam egg cartons.





CARDBOARD TUBE MANIA


Cardboard Tube Mania, a book in the "Mania" Craft Books series, published by Children's Press, 2002, gives quick and easy directions for 12 fun-filled projects. Create your own rain stick, design a haunted house, or make a bunch of bugs. Save your empty cardboard tubes from rolls of paper towel, toilet tissue and wrapping paper to make all the projects listed in the book.





CRAFT STICK MANIA


Craft Stick Mania, part of the "Mania" Craft books, published by Children's Press, 2002, features 12 easy, fun projects for craft sticks. Make a dragonfly, a coaster or a trinket box using craft sticks. Craft sticks can be found at most craft and hobby stores, but you can recycle your own sticks from frozen treats like ice pops and ice cream bars.





PAPER PLATE MANIA


Paper Plate Mania, part of the "Mania" Craft series of books, published by Children's Press(2002), gives directions for a dozen easy and fun craft projects, using ordinary paper plates. Make a snake, a butterfly, or an owl. All of the projects shown in the book were made using regular-sized, white paper plates. Customize your creations by using different sizes or colors of plates. Some of the designs can be made using foam plates, as well.








PIPE CLEANER MANIA


Pipe Cleaner Mania, another one of the "Mania" Craft Books, contains 12 easy-to-make projects using pipe cleaners. Try your hand at creating silly glasses, a wacky headband, or a ring toss game. Pipe cleaners can be found in most craft and hobby stores and are fun and easy to use. Follow the directions in the book to complete the desired projects, but don't forget to check out the "Other Ideas" section in the book for simple ways to add to or change each design.
